Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use Vow Invites on behalf of an organization (for example, as a wedding planner), you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Service

Vow Invites lets you design, customize, and share digital invitations — including themes, media, maps, music, and RSVP collection — and manage responses from a dashboard.

A Free Draft lets you design and preview an invite. A live public invitation without Vow Invites branding requires a paid Pro event slot, as described on our pricing page. We may change features, themes, or pricing; changes will not remove Pro access you have already paid for, except as described in these Terms.

3. Accounts

You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information and keep it updated
• Keep your password confidential and notify us of unauthorized use
• Be responsible for activity under your account
• Use the Service only for lawful event invitations and related planning

We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms, is used for fraud or abuse, or remains inactive for an extended period after notice where reasonably practical.

4. Plans and payments

Paid plans are one-time purchases of Pro event slots (single or bundle), not subscriptions. Prices are shown in INR for India or USD internationally, based on billing region at checkout.

A Pro slot is used when it is applied to an event so that event can go live as a Pro invitation. Bundle slots remain in your account until you apply them. Prices may change for future purchases; they do not change a purchase you have already completed.

Refunds are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of photos, text, music, guest lists, and other material you upload (“Your Content”). You grant Vow Invites a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and deliver Your Content solely to operate the Service — for example, showing your invitation to guests you share it with.

You confirm that you have the rights to use Your Content (including music and photographs) and that it does not infringe someone else’s rights or applicable law. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

6. Our intellectual property

The Vow Invites platform, name, logo, themes, templates, layouts, and software are owned by us or our licensors. Buying a Pro slot lets you use those designs for your own events. You may not resell our themes, copy the platform, or claim our designs as your own product.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, misleading, or harmful
• Upload malware, scrape the Service, or attempt unauthorized access
• Collect guest data except as needed for your own event
• Send spam or unsolicited marketing using guest information from the Service
• Impersonate others or infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights

8. Sharing with guests

You decide who receives your invitation link. Personalized guest links and RSVP forms are tools for your event; you are responsible for how you share them and for the accuracy of event details (date, venue, dress code, and so on).

We do not guarantee that every guest’s device, network, or messaging app will display the invite identically. WhatsApp, iMessage, and other apps are third-party services outside our control.

9. Third-party services

Checkout, hosting, media delivery, maps, and analytics are provided in part by third-party service providers. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. We are not responsible for outages or policies of those providers.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. We work to keep invites online for your event, but we do not warrant that the Service will be available at every moment or on every device.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vow Invites is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Pro purchase giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such a rule applies.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Vow Invites against claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your place of residence.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires a different process. The “Last updated” date will change when we revise this page.
